I lost 100g this week. Woohoo!!!!!!
You would think I lost 2 kgs wouldn't you? I had a blowout this weekend for the first time on this journey. It was Jarryd's party and out came the chicken nuggets, potato gems, chips, lollies and icecream cake. I had some of all of those and when I got on the scales Monday morning my weight was up about 1.5 kgs. I didn't feel the slightest bit guilty about eating what I did because it's a very rare thing not an everyday thing.
So I made the decision to get back on track on Monday and by last night I had lost the 1.5 kgs + 100g extra. It was a great feeling.
I have another doctors appointment this afternoon to get my blood pressure checked again after it was slightly high 2 weeks ago. Not sure if it will have gone down. I feel my stress levels are definitely higher than usual and dealing with a 12 year old daughter who thinks she can say and do what she wants is not helping. I need to try and step back and not get involved in a yelling match with her because I am not going to win. I was the same at her age. Thanks Chris for your comment on my blog yesterday about this. I take on board what you said. I know you are talking from experience.
I have a fairly quiet weekend planned. Steve has had Hoyts picture tickets to use since October last year and they expire at the end of March so we are going to see something tomorrow. Then catching up with a lovely friend I met on the ww forums a couple of years ago for coffee on Sunday.
I'd better go. I want to go for a walk before I pick the kids up from school.
Have a great weekend everyone and please if you drop by, leave a comment to say hi. I know so many people read my blog by the location counter but so few leave messages. Even if you just say hi, I can then read your blog too. I love getting comments. I need to feel the love - LOL!!!

Hi Tina
Well done for managing a loss when you had a bad weekend. My last few days have turned out terrible and I have had a stern talking to myself and back into the swing of things. Enjoy the movie. Martine x
My mum serves up those potato gems...10 of em for 4 or 4.5 points (cant remember now) sooooooo not worth it..i miss them lol...im glad u had fun tho =]
Hi Tina, it's been a while since I have been to your blog and your photos have reminded all that it is I miss about Adelaide. Even the beach playground you guys are on looks like Semaphore. I am sure it isn't but it did make me a little homesick. AND the 8th Ben Ten birthday party. I have a little man turning 8 at the end of the year and we are tossing up between Ben and Star Wars at the moment LOL..
Well done on pulling back the 1.5kgs - you have done really well. :)
Hi Tina
Sorry I haven't been round much lately, being sick and still trying to do everything I haven't had the energy to do much at the moment but today I am feeling better though still have a nasty cough, and sound a bit like a drag queen when I talk! Haven't been in the chat room much of late there seem to be a few pot stirrers now joining in and it can be quite uncomfortable sometimes. But I do try and get in there most nights to say hi. I had a loss of 700g which I wasn't expecting being sick and no exercise so hopefully will be right again this week. I'm so glad you had a great day for Jarryds birthday, I look forward to those occasions where you get chance to eat "naughty" stuff because as you said it is only once in a blue moon, not an everday thing. I am really looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks its going to be a great day. So have a great weekend whats left of it and will definitely catch up sometime this week.
Sam x
I thought so! Mum & Dad have sold the Largs Kiosk now but seeing it all still makes me think back to when we had it. I will definitely keep in contact *hugs*
Well you know i'm always reading, even if I am a bit slack and don't get around to reading your entries (or anyone elses) for a couple of days ... lol
It's a great feeling to have a loss when you've indulged a bit isn't it? Just proves that you can maintain once you reach your goal. Well done mate!
Hope the blood pressure was lower this time. See you tonight!
Have fun at the movies
